Christian Lacroix Charm Choker Necklace — Hearts, Crosses and Stars, Gold-Tone, 1990s

Sale price$495.00

Six charms suspended from a heavy rolo chain in warm rose-gold tone metal: two puffed hearts, two equal-armed crosses, two eight-pointed stars. Each charm is cast with sculptural volume, giving the necklace presence without unnecessary scale.

The symbol vocabulary is unmistakably Lacroix. Hearts and crosses appeared repeatedly in his jewelry collections from the moment he opened his couture house on the Faubourg Saint-Honoré in 1987. Where many designers of the period leaned into rhinestones and spectacle, Lacroix often returned to elemental symbols rendered in polished metal.

The chain is substantial, with links large enough to carry the charms without losing structure. It sits at the collarbone, short enough to read as a choker while still moving freely.

The toggle clasp carries the CHRISTIAN LACROIX signature stamp, the primary authentication mark on charm pieces from this period.

A wearable, quietly iconic example of Lacroix’s house vocabulary in its most distilled form.

A documented example from the Per Se Vintage archive.
